Tori’s Angels will host its ninth annual breakfast benefit Sunday, Aug. 26, from 8 am to 1 pm at the Panora Community Center. Tori’s Angels is a Panora-based non-profit that provides financial and emotional support for families in central Iowa whose children are battling life-threatening illnesses,

Bacon and eggs, pancakes and beverages comprise the menu, with a free will donation accepted. Bidding on a silent auction will close at 12:30 pm. Auction items include gift cards and certificates for area restaurants, a one-night stay at the Amana Colonies, gift baskets, passes to the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad, and a handmade quilt.
A feature item on the auction is a multi-night Mississippi River cruise and tickets to the National Riverboat Museum.
